Wetland Banking Listening Sessions Self-Nomination - 11/2/2018: INFORMATIONAL PUBLIC NOTICE: The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District are seeking individuals interested in participating in half day wetland banking listening sessions the week of January 28, 2019.

2018-02993-JMB (Clark County, WI) Heartland Cooperative Services Project - 10/25/2018: LETTER OF PERMISSION: The proposed project would establish new facilities, infrastructure, and the most cost-effective means of producing, processing, storing, transporting and distributing Heartland’s products and services to customers in the agricultural industry, including over 8,500 area farmers, within its service area. The existing, smaller feed mills are aging and in need of major improvements. Consequently, Heartland Cooperative determined that a new super feed mill complex having direct access to a major rail line and transportation corridor centrally located within their service region was needed.

2015-02528-MMW (Lake County, MN) Northshore Mining Company Project - 10/17/2018: PUBLIC NOTICE: Northshore Mining Company (NSM) is requesting a Department of the Army permit for the proposed discharge fill material into 272.16 acres of wetlands, 35.96 acres of Murphy’s Pond, and 2.53 acres (7,737 linear feet) of stream for the purpose of the Milepost 7 Tailings Basin progression of 845 acres in conjunction with the relocation of the existing railroad serving as the northwest embankment of the basin approximately 4,000 linear feet to the northwest.
