  • Great Plains SDAM Public Notice

    Expiration date: 11/27/2024

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Albuquerque, Chicago, Detroit, Fort Worth, Galveston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Omaha, Rock Island, Sacramento, San Francisco, St. Louis, St. Paul, and Tulsa Districts, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Regions 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 jointly announce the availability of the Regional Streamflow Duration Assessment Methods (Regional SDAMs) for the Arid West, Western Mountains and Great Plains. The methods are rapid assessment tools for distinguishing between ephemeral, intermittent, and perennial streamflow at the reach scale for the Arid West, Western Mountains and Great Plains regions.

  • Stearns County Town Line Road Reconstruction

    Expiration date: 11/13/2024

    The project would resurface Townline Road (30th Avenue or 75th Avenue) and expand the existing roadway to meet Minnesota State Aid standards including 11-foot-wide lanes and 6-foot-wide shoulders. The project would replace seven culverts where Townline Road crosses tributaries to the Watab River.

  • Rainy Lake Boat Dock

    Expiration date: 11/11/2024

    The applicant is proposing to replace and expand their existing boat dock in Rainy Lake. The proposed dock would have a T-dock design with eight (8) floating fingers for additional docking. The proposed dock was designed to meet Americans with Disabilities Act design standards.

  • Cohrs Wetland Compensatory Mitigation Bank Proposal

    Expiration date: 11/24/2024

    The sponsor proposes to develop the Cohrs Wetland Bank. The proposed bank site is approximately 105.7 acres in size, including upland buffer areas. The bank site location, baseline conditions, proposed reference wetland location, proposed vegetation community types and concept plan are shown on the enclosed figures labeled MVP-2020-00615-LED Public Notice Page 1-10 of 10. The Corps reviewed a prospectus for this project in 2021. In response to Corps comments, the sponsor has expanded and redesigned the proposed project and has submitted a revised prospectus.

  • Buffalo Creek Wetland Bank

    Expiration date: 11/21/2024

    The sponsor proposes to restore wetland hydrology to the site by disabling an extensive sub surface drain tile system. Tile blocks, tile ripping and intake removal would be the primary mechanisms used to disable to tile system and restore hydrology. Native upland and wetland vegetation would be re-established on the site. The site would be managed by the sponsor.

  • 2008-03600-LED (Meadows of Gilman – Klinker Wetland Bank)

    Expiration date: 11/22/2024

    The sponsor is proposing to finalize development of the Meadows of Gilman Wetland Bank. The proposed bank site is approximately 61.15 acres in size, including upland buffer areas.

  • 2012-04969-JST (Parkway Neighborhood Project)

    Expiration date: 11/16/2024

    The applicant proposes to develop a 67.29-acre mixed-use development. The proposed development would include construction of a roadway and regional trail, 650 medium to high-density multi-family residential units, a commercial parcel with a convenience store, gas station/car wash, retail service buildings, stormwater features, utilities, and parking lots.

  • Supplemented Minor Discharges and Utility Regional General Permits in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and Federally Recognized American Indian Reservations

    Expiration date: 2/19/2028

    This notice announces the availability of the Utility and Minor Discharges regional general permits (RGP’s) for use within the Lake Superior Hydrologic Unit Codes (HUCs) previously excluded as part of the Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 401(a)(2) process (401(a)(2) process).

  • Superior SAMP IV RGP

    Expiration date: 8/15/2028

    This notice announces the reissuance and availability of the City of Superior, WI Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) IV Regional General Permit (RGP). The Superior SAMP IV RGP is now available to authorize certain Section 404-regulated activities in wetlands identified as eligible for the RGP in the Superior SAMP (version IV) for single and complete residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and public development projects. The RGP authorizes regulated activities that have been determined to result in no more than minimal individual or cumulative adverse environmental effects. The applicable terms and conditions are described in the Superior SAMP IV RGP attached to this notice.
