ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is participating at a construction contracting industry day in Minot, North Dakota, March 9.
The Corps, in partnership with the Small Business Administration, is hosting this no-cost event at 1600 S. Broadway St., Minot. The seminar begins at 9 a.m. and goes until noon. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The seminar provides key information on the following areas: • Doing business with the Corps of Engineers; • Doing business with the North Dakota Department of Transportation; • How to find and respond to government solicitations; and • Doing business with Minot Air Force Base.

The nearly 600 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, employees working at more than 40 sites in five upper-Midwest states serve the American public in the areas of environmental enhancement, navigation, flood damage reduction, water and wetlands regulation, recreation sites and disaster response. Through the Corps’ Fiscal Year 2015 $100 million budget, nearly 1,600 non-Corps jobs were added to the regional economy as well as $155 million to the national economy.
