ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, recently completed a draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact report for the proposed St Croix Falls, Wis., wastewater treatment facility upgrade and is seeking public comment on the report.
The project would consist of constructing an administrative/headworks building, updating the existing wastewater treatment facility, and other minor improvements at the facility and the offsite sludge storage facility. In a separate but related action, the City of St. Croix Falls is providing other improvements to the existing facility, including of phosphorus removal.
The purpose of the project is to provide wastewater treatment infrastructure for the City of St. Croix Falls to address the need to update its aging facility.
