PUBLIC NOTICE: The applicant has proposed the construction of a new, approximately 504,983 SF processing and distribution facility on a 28.48-acre parcel in Luverne, Minnesota, for expansion of the existing Premium Iowa Pork processing facility currently located on the west side of the site. The purpose of the project is to expand the Premium Iowa Pork processing facility, connectivity between the processing expansion and the new cold storage warehouse, existing rail access, and avoidance of relocating existing sanitary and electrical utilities. The need is to meet future growth.

    PUBLIC NOTICE: Dairyland Power Cooperative (Dairyland) is applying for a Department of the Army permit for the Italian Hollow Drainage Project (Project) located adjacent to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) bridge on State Highway 35, immediately south of the entrance road to Dairyland’s Genoa Station #3 in the Town of Genoa. The purpose of the Project is to improve drainage conditions within an approximately 4,500 linear foot portion of the Italian Hollow Drainage Ditch (Ditch) that flows west under the State Highway 35 bridge and the BNSF bridge and runs south through a previously disturbed wetland into the Mississippi River.

    PUBLIC NOTICE: The purpose of the proposed project is to increase the total containment capacity of Pool 2 by 9,000,000 gallons. As stated in the application, Enbridge can add approximately 3,000,000 gallons of capacity in Pool 2 by raising the height of the existing berm. Therefore, an additional dam is necessary downstream of Pool 2 with the capacity of approximately 6,000,000 gallons to achieve the desired total capacity of 9,000,000 gallons.
