The sponsor is proposing to develop the KLM Farms Second Wetland Bank. The proposed bank site is approximately 41.0 acres in size. The project objective is to restore self-sustaining and high-functioning fresh wet meadow wetlands and mesic prairie upland buffers to generate approximately 29.9250 wetland banking credits. The site is currently in agricultural production. The sponsor proposes to restore wetland hydrology by disabling the on-site drainage system, which includes filling the central ditch, partially filling the west ditch, and rerouting drainage to a newly constructed ditch on the east side of the property. Following the earthwork, the site will be seeded with native vegetation.
