  • Corps of Engineers plans brief outflow reduction at Orwell Dam

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is reducing outflows into the Otter Tail River at Orwell Dam, located southwest of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, to 80 cubic feet per second, or cfs, Wednesday, Aug. 26.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, invites the public to attend a rededication ceremony of the remodeled visitor center at Big Sandy Lake Recreation Area, near McGregor, Minnesota.
  • Corps of Engineers plans brief outflow reduction at Baldhill Dam

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is reducing outflows into the Sheyenne River at Baldhill Dam, located northwest of Valley City, N.D., to around 50 cubic feet per second, or CFS, beginning Friday, Aug. 7.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will be providing tours at Upper Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam in Minneapolis, Wednesday – Sunday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Valley Division, selected St. Paul District employee and Rochester, Minnesota, resident Sheldon Edd as its Construction Management Excellence Award recipient.
  • Mississippi River Commission low-water inspection trip

    The Mississippi River Commission will conduct its annual low-water inspection trip on the Mississippi River August 8-21, 2015. Four public meetings have been scheduled aboard the Motor Vessel MISSISSIPPI in selected towns along the river so commission members have the opportunity to meet with local partners, stakeholders and residents and hear their concerns, ideas and issues.   • Gull Lake Dam and Recreation Site temporarily closed

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, closed its Gull Lake Dam and Recreation Site, located near Brainerd, Minnesota, this morning until further notice.
