  • Corps awards its second contract for Fargo-Moorhead diversion project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $59,448,550.00 contract to Ames Construction, Inc. of Burnsville, Minnesota, to complete the Wild Rice River structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, late Nov. 27, 2019.

  • $3.2 million contract awarded for miter gate anchorages at Lock 2

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, recently awarded a $3.2 million contract to Kaiyuh Services, LLC, out of Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, to install new miter gate anchorages at Lock and Dam 2, near Hastings, Minnesota.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $46,040,475.00 contract Dec. 6, to Ames Construction, Inc., of Burnsville, Minnesota, to complete the diversion inlet control structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project.

  • Corps awards contract for next increment of Stillwater, Minn., flood work

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $722,000 contract to The Povolny Group of St. Paul, Minn., today, April 12, to begin construction on stage 3a of its Stillwater, Minn., flood damage reduction project.

  • Corps awards $4 million contract to build Mississippi River islands in Pool 9

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $4 million contract to McHugh Excavating and Plumbing, Inc., of Onalaska, Wis., Feb. 5 to begin construction on the second and final stage of its Capoli Slough Islands habitat restoration project, taking place five miles south of Lansing, Iowa, in Pool 9 on the Mississippi River.

  • Corps awards contract for stream bank stabilization near Delano, Minn.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $2.1 million contract to Earthwork Technologies, Inc., of Red Lake, Minn., to stabilize an eroding river bank along the Crow River north of Delano, Minn., March 29.
