Programs & Project Management

Function:
The programs and project management division is responsible for project management and general oversight for all district work, including water resources projects, project operation and maintenance, support to other agencies and military projects or programs.

The division:

  • Develops and supports the district's civil works annual and multi-year programs and
  • Develops mission and work requirements, and prepares project schedules and funding needs.
  • Through active monitoring of project progress and costs, the division ensures the district meets its project goals.
  • Works with the district's project teams to define customer needs and commitments and ensure that the district’s products meet customers' expectations.

Mission:
The programs and project management division is responsible for managing the district's civil works and military programs.

Public Notice: City of Isle water and sewer improvement project draft environmental assessment
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, released a draft Environmental Assessment, or EA, for proposed municipal water and sanitary sewer systems improvement project in Isle, Minnesota, Aug. 26. The proposed project includes demolition of one water tower, rehabilitation of two existing wells and installation of 23 new fire hydrants along with the replacement and extension of water and sewer mains.

Public Notice: Upper Mississippi River draft master plan
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, released its draft Upper Mississippi River master plan and environmental assessment today, Aug. 14, and is seeking public comments. The master plan encompasses the Upper Mississippi River from the Twin Cities to Lock and Dam 10 in Guttenberg, Iowa.
