Corps of Engineers awards $5.5 million contract for Lower Pool 10 restoration project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $5.5 million contract to Dubuque Barge and Fleeting (doing business as Newt Marine Service) of Dubuque, Iowa, May 14, for stage 3 of a restoration project in Lower Pool 10, near Guttenberg, Iowa.

The employees in the engineering and construction division include 14 professional engineering and science disciplines. The division provides study, design and construction engineering services for civil works water resource projects, including navigation, flood control, environmental stewardship, dam safety, recreation and emergency response. This includes engineering and related support to maintain the St. Paul District's 13 locks and dams on the Mississippi River and 16 multi-purpose reservoirs.
