Programs & Project Management

Function:
The programs and project management division is responsible for project management and general oversight for all district work, including water resources projects, project operation and maintenance, support to other agencies and military projects or programs.

The division:

  • Develops and supports the district's civil works annual and multi-year programs and
  • Develops mission and work requirements, and prepares project schedules and funding needs.
  • Through active monitoring of project progress and costs, the division ensures the district meets its project goals.
  • Works with the district's project teams to define customer needs and commitments and ensure that the district’s products meet customers' expectations.

Mission:
The programs and project management division is responsible for managing the district's civil works and military programs.

Chippewa River Diversion Dam Repairs
The purpose of the Project is to repair the Chippewa River Diversion Dam by sandblasting and painting the Tainter gate beneath the County Road 13 bridge and repairing deteriorating or spalling concrete on the bridge to facilitate the Corps’ future ability to operate the Tainter gate and pass flows in accordance with the Corps’ Water Control Manual.
