  • Corps of Engineers announces temporary closures at Lock and Dam 6

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is temporarily closing Lock and Dam 6, in Trempealeau, Wisconsin, August 19, 21, 26 and 28, to replace all four main lock chamber miter gates. The lock will be closed to all river traffic, commercial and recreational, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Corps begins construction on Upper Pool 4 project near Bay City, Wisconsin

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and its contractor, LS Marine, Inc., of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, have begun construction on the Upper Pool 4 habitat restoration project, near Bay City, Wisconsin.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will celebrate the completion of the Sandy Lake Dam rehabilitation project with a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Aug. 2 at the Sandy Lake Recreation Area at 1 p.m. The recreation area is located at 22205 531st Lane, McGregor, Minnesota.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, along with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and the North Dakota Department of Transportation, will resume construction on the Interstate 29 road raise next week.

  • Corps of Engineers awards its largest contract for the Fargo-Moorhead diversion project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $115 million contract late yesterday to Ames Construction, Inc., of Burnsville, Minnesota, to construct the Red River Control Structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, or FM Area Diversion.

  • Corps announces county road closures for I-29 grade raise project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, along with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and the North Dakota Department of Transportation, will be closing multiple roads associated with the I-29 grade raise project. These road closures are expected to begin around April 1 and continue through the summer.

  • Corps of Engineers announces temporary closure at Gull Lake boat ramp

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will temporarily close the boat launch at Gull Lake, near Brainerd, Minnesota, to reconstruct the ramp, beginning Sept. 27. The ramp will be closed for about two weeks.

  • Corps announces temporary closure at Big Sandy Lake boat ramp

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will temporarily close the south boat landing at Big Sandy Lake, near McGregor, Minnesota, to reconstruct the ramp, beginning Sept. 20. The ramp will be closed for about two weeks.
