Corps announces availability of final 2018 National Wetland Plant List providing plant species indicator status ratings
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as part of an interagency effort with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, is announcing the availability of the final 2018 National Wetland Plant List (NWPL). The Federal Register Notice for the 2018 NWPL update was posted on May 18, 2020 and can be found at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-05-18/pdf/2020-10630.pdf.

ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is welcoming the 101 days of summer with a reminder for everyone to play it safe while on the water and to always wear a life jacket.
Corps of Engineers reopens lock facilities to the public
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is removing the closures to its facilities near the Mississippi River locks and dams from Lock and Dam 2, near Hastings, Minnesota, to Lock and Dam 10 in Guttenberg, Iowa. The change is effective immediately.
Corps of Engineers urges boater safety on Mississippi River
ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is celebrating National Safe Boating Week by urging boaters on the Mississippi River to be smart while on the water.
Change of Command for Mississippi Valley Division
Maj. Gen. R. Mark Toy will transfer command of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), to Maj. Gen. Diana M. Holland in a formal change of command ceremony June 30 at 10 a.m. at MVD headquarters. Due to the current conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be open to the public, but will be live streamed on Facebook @mississippivalleydivision.
Leech Lake Recreation Area boat landing temporarily closed
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, has temporarily closed its boat landing at the Leech Lake Recreation Area in Federal Dam, Minnesota, due to safety concerns for its staff, visitors and the local community.
Water quality sampling to resume for Fargo-Moorhead project
