The Directorate of Civil Works is a major component of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Civil Works programs include water resource development activities including flood risk management, navigation, recreation, and infrastructure and environmental stewardship. Army Corps of Engineers waives fees and invites volunteers to participate in National Public Lands Day, Sept. 23

Corps seeks comments on Lake Ashtabula water management plan update
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is seeking public comments on its Baldhill Dam and Lake Ashtabula water control plan and will hold a public meeting Oct. 11, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Valley City High School, HAC lobby.
