    ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, seeks comments on a draft feasibility report and environmental assessment for the proposed Sheldon Road Bridge streambank protection project near Sheldon, North Dakota.
  • USACE Publishes Policy Update for Inundation Maps and the National Inventory of Dams

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published Engineer Circular 1110-2-6075, “Inundation Maps and Emergency Action Plans and Incident Management for Dams and Levee Systems,” in October. This update allows for the use and public dissemination of inundation maps in emergency action plans (EAP) and the National Inventory of Dams (NID), It also provides the dam safety community access to critical information about residual flood risks from USACE dams and levees.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is re-releasing the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam disposition study draft report after updating it to reflect new legislation passed by Congress in the Water Resources Development Act of 2020.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, closed its parking lot and observation bridge at Lock and Dam 4, in Alma, Wisconsin, for winter maintenance after the end of last year’s navigation season.
  • Public review of Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock disposition study paused

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is pausing its public review of the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam disposition study to allow the study team to update the draft report to reflect new legislation passed by Congress in the Water Resources Development Act of 2020.
