    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, reopened the boat ramp at Gull Lake Dam and Recreation Area today, July 28.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will be providing tours at Upper Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam in Minneapolis, Wednesday – Sunday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Valley Division, selected St. Paul District employee and Rochester, Minnesota, resident Sheldon Edd as its Construction Management Excellence Award recipient.
  • Mississippi River Commission low-water inspection trip

    The Mississippi River Commission will conduct its annual low-water inspection trip on the Mississippi River August 8-21, 2015. Four public meetings have been scheduled aboard the Motor Vessel MISSISSIPPI in selected towns along the river so commission members have the opportunity to meet with local partners, stakeholders and residents and hear their concerns, ideas and issues. The meeting places, dates and times are as follows:

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is hosting a free youth fishing derby for kids age 12 and under at its Blackhawk Park near De Soto, Wisconsin, Saturday, Aug. 1.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, closed its Gull Lake Dam and Recreation Site, located near Brainerd, Minnesota, this morning until further notice.
  • Corps of Engineers hosting Lock and Dam 1 open house during Highland Fest

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is hosting an open house at Lock and Dam 1, located near Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, Saturday, July 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lock and dam, often referred to as the Ford Dam, is located at 5000 West River Parkway, Minneapolis. It is also adjacent to Minnehaha Park.
  • Corps seeks comments on its Mississippi River Headwaters Master Plan

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is hosting an open house at its Cross Lake Recreation Area, in Crosslake, Minnesota, July 21, to discuss the Mississippi River Headwaters Master Plan for its six recreation sites in the region.
