  • UPDATE: Corps postpones Marsh Lake project completion ceremony

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Upper Minnesota River Watershed District will celebrate the completion of the Marsh Lake environmental enhancement project with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 14, at 11 a.m. This is an update from the previous date of May 17. This event is postponed due to recent rain and storm events, which have made it unsafe to access the site.
  • Corps of Engineers and Fish and Wildlife Service break ground on Twin Cities environmental restoration project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Midwest Region will celebrate the start of an environmental restoration project for the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge with a ‘virtual’ groundbreaking ceremony Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m.
  • Change of Command for Mississippi Valley Division

    Maj. Gen. R. Mark Toy will transfer command of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), to Maj. Gen. Diana M. Holland in a formal change of command ceremony June 30 at 10 a.m. at MVD headquarters. Due to the current conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be open to the public, but will be live streamed on Facebook @mississippivalleydivision.
  • Federal and local leaders invite the community to remember 1997 flood; celebrate groundbreaking on federal project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Board of Authority invite the public to a 1997 Flood Commemoration and Groundbreaking Ceremony at 1 p.m., Monday, April 17.
