  • Corps closes bridge at Eau Galle Recreation Area

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, has closed the bridge at the Northwest Day Use Area at the Eau Galle Recreation Area in Spring Valley, Wisconsin, to all vehicle, pedestrian and equestrian traffic due to the deteriorated conditions of the bridge.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will begin drawing down its Eau Galle Reservoir in Spring Valley, Wisconsin, two feet, starting Monday, Sept. 24, in order to perform maintenance work on the dam this winter.
  • Eau Galle campground reopening in time for Memorial Day weekend

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is reopening its Highland Ridge Campground at the Eau Galle Dam and Recreation Site, located in Spring Valley, Wis., tomorrow, May 23. The campground was closed the first week of May after the park received more than 14 inches of heavy snowfall that resulted in extensive tree damage.
