  • Corps awards $13.2 million contract for the Fargo-Moorhead diversion project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $13.2 million contract to HSG Park Joint Venture 2, LLC of Harvey, North Dakota, yesterday, Feb. 27, to complete the Southern Embankment Reach SE-1B portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, which is also known as the FM Area Diversion.
  • Corps awards $12.8 million contract for Oxbow-Hickson-Bakke ring levee project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $12.8 million contract to Hendrickson Transportation, LLC, of Hamburg, Iowa, yesterday, Feb. 22, to complete the Oxbow-Hickson-Bakke Ring Levee portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, also known as the FM Area Diversion.
  • Corps awards contract for bank stabilization near Fountain City, Wisconsin

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $347,400 contract to LS Marine, Inc., out of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Nov. 16, for bank stabilization at Wilds Bend, near Fountain City, Wisconsin, in Pool 5 of the Mississippi River. Wilds Bend is a temporary dredged material, or river sand, storage site.
  • Corps awards contract for bank stabilization near Diamond Bluff, Wisconsin

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $374,400 contract to LS Marine, Inc., out of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Nov. 16, for bank stabilization at Corps Island, near Diamond Bluff, Wisconsin in Pool 3 of the Mississippi River. Corps Island is a temporary dredged material, or river sand, storage site.
  • Corps awards contract for Mississippi River Upper Pool 4 improvement project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $8.7 million contract to Newt Marine Service, out of Dubuque, Iowa, July 14, for a Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program, or NESP, project located on the Wisconsin side of the Upper Mississippi River in Upper Pool 4, near Bay City, Wisconsin.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $324,000 contract today to Togiak Management Services of Anchorage, Alaska, to complete a wing dam modification project in Pool 2 of the Mississippi River downstream of St. Paul, Minnesota.
  • Corps of Engineers awards $6.9 million McGregor Lake Stage 2 option

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is awarding the second part of the McGregor Lake Habitat Rehabilitation and Enhancement Project today, to Dubuque Barge and Fleeting Service Company doing business as Newt Marine Service, of Dubuque, Iowa. The $6.9 million option award will go toward the stage 2 construction contract in the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge located near Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
  • Corps awards a $7.7 million contract to construct a fish passage at Drayton Dam

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $7.7 million contract to HSG Park Joint Venture, LLC, of Harvey, North Dakota, to complete a fish passage structure at Drayton Dam, located around 60 miles north of Grand Forks, North Dakota, on the Red River of the North.
  • Corps of Engineers awards its largest contract for the Fargo-Moorhead diversion project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $115 million contract late yesterday to Ames Construction, Inc., of Burnsville, Minnesota, to construct the Red River Control Structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, or FM Area Diversion.
  • Corps of Engineers’ Fountain City Service Base repairs to begin soon
