Corps awards contract for the construction of a St. Croix Falls, Wis., Wastewater Treatment Plant building

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, recently awarded a $2 million contract to Dell Construction, Co., of Eau Claire, Wis., to complete a wastewater facilities project in St. Croix Falls, Wis.

The project consists of designing and building a portion of the St Croix Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes bar screening and grit removal, offices and a laboratory. The Corps issued the notice to proceed to the contractor Nov. 30, and the contractor is expected to begin construction in the next few months. The Corps hopes to have the project complete by the end of summer 2013.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, serves the American public in the areas of environmental enhancement, navigation, flood damage reduction, water and wetlands regulation, recreation sites and disaster response.
