Change of Command for Mississippi Valley Division

Maj. Gen. Richard G. Kaiser will transfer command of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), to Maj. Gen. R. Mark Toy in a formal change of command ceremony, July 23, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the Vicksburg Convention Center, Vicksburg, Mississippi. Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite, USACE 54th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General, will officiate the ceremony.

Devils Lake, N.D., resident receives Corps of Engineers construction award

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mississippi Valley Division in Vicksburg, Miss., recently announced its selection of Corps of Engineers St. Paul District employee and Devils Lake, N.D., resident Loren Nishek as the recipient of its 2011 Construction Hard Hat of the Year Award.
