    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is updating its water control plan for Upper and Lower Red lakes in northern Minnesota and will host its third public meeting from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Redby Community Center, Redby, Minnesota, Feb. 12.

Below average precipitation and drought conditions continue to impact reservoir levels and discharges. All locations are releasing the minimum flow or near the minimum flow.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, recently signed a cost sharing agreement with the Red Lake Band to study the feasibility of constructing a fish passage in Red Lake and restoring adjacent habitat in the Zah Gheeng marsh in Clearwater County, Minnesota.
