ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is migrating its public website (http://www.mvp.usace.army.mil) and all its Web pages to a new look and hosting platform on Feb. 5, 2013.

While the home page address will remain the same (www.mvp.usace.army.mil), the migration will result in changed Web addresses, or URLs, which means many bookmarks or favorites you have saved will no longer function.

With only a few exceptions to just a few sites, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (http://www.usace.army.mil) is updating, refreshing and migrating 58 Corps Web sites to a new system hosted by the Department of Defense. The system provides the Corps with a consistent website look and feel; streamlines content management, making it easier to keep Web pages current; delivers a rich end-user experience; and is compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, serves the American public in the areas of environmental enhancement, navigation, flood damage reduction, water and wetlands regulation, recreation sites and disaster response. It contributes around $175 million to the five-state district economy. The 700 employees work at more than 40 sites in five upper-Midwest states. For more information, see www.mvp.usace.army.mil.
