Corps of Engineers small business program manager to talk about obtaining government dollars in Fargo, N.D., Jan. 24

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Interested in finding out how to obtain construction contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers?

Tom Koopmeiners, Corps’ St. Paul District small business program director, will present “Doing Business with the Corps of Engineers,” as a part of the Minnesota Procurement Technical Assistance Center’s 2012 Training Series from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 4351 17th Ave. S., Fargo, N.D.

Koopmeiners will discuss how to find out where upcoming Corps’ projects will be, as well as where to find bidding information on these projects. He is one of several speakers during this day-long course that will focus on pursuing government contracts.

The cost to attend the workshop is $30. The fee will cover the cost of lunch and materials. The sponsors of this project are the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District; the Minnesota Small Business Development Center; the Impact Foundation; the Dakota Certified Development Corporation; the National Contract Management Association; and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
