Corps of Engineers deputy for small business to talk about obtaining government dollars in Grand Rapids, Minn., Feb. 7

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Interested in finding out how to obtain construction contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers? Tom Koopmeiners, Corps’ St. Paul District deputy for small business, will present “Doing Business with the Corps of Engineers,” from 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Blandin Foundation board room, 100 N. Pokegama Ave., in Grand Rapids, Minn.

Koopmeiners will discuss how to find out where upcoming Corps’ projects will be, as well as where to find bidding information on these projects. The cost to attend the workshop is $30. The fee will cover the cost of course materials and refreshments. The sponsors of this project are the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District; the Blandin Foundation; the Hiway Federal Credit Union; the West Central Initiative; and the Minority Business Development Agency.
