Water Surface Elevation: 645.5

Low Control Pool Elevation: 644.2

Net Difference: + 1.3’

5-Day River Forecast: Dropping Steadily

 

DREDGING DATA

Recommended Channel Width: 200 feet

Recommended Dredging Depth: 11 feet

Estimated Quantity: 27.622 yd3

Type of Dredge: Contract Mechanical

Proposed Dredging Date: July 25th, 2014

Estimated Duration: 14 dredging days

Justification for Dredging: The navigation channel is closed within the 9’ contours and closed within the 10.5’ contours.

 

MATERIAL PLACEMENT DATA

Proposed Placement Site: Homer Placement Site & Winona Technology Park

Location: 6-720.5-RMP

Site Characteristics: The Homer site is a historically used beneficial use site all material is expected to be removed.   Winona Technology Park is a short term site provided by the Winona Port Authority.  It is not identified in the CMMP, but it was coordinated through the OSIT.  The Winona Port Authority has obtained all necessary permits for this action.
