Recommended Channel Width: 500 feet

Recommended Dredging Depth: 11 feet

Estimated Quantity: 15,673 yd3

Type of Dredge: Contract Mechanical Plant 3

Proposed Dredging Date: May 30th, 2019

Estimated Duration: 10 dredging days

Justification for Dredging: The navigation channel is restricted to 180’ between the 9’ and closed between the 10.5’ contours. On a recommended bend width of 500’.

Proposed Placement Site: Above West Newton, Above Fisher Island

Location: 5-748.0-RMT, 5-745.8-RMT

Site Characteristics: Both sites are historically used island transfer sites.
