Recommended Channel Width: 300 feet

Recommended Dredging Depth: 12 feet

Estimated Quantity: 31,499 yd3

Type of Dredge: Government Mechanical

Proposed Dredging Date: June 12th, 2017

Estimated Duration: 16 dredging days

Justification for Dredging: The navigation channel is reduced to 160 feet between the 9.0’ contours and closed between the 10.5’ contours.

 

MATERIAL PLACEMENT DATA

Proposed Placement Site: Homer

Location: 6-720.5 RMP

Site Characteristics: The Homer placement site is a historically used stockpile site.
