ST. PAUL, Minn. – Col. Eric Swenson, outgoing Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District commander, is presented with a Legion of Merit award from Maj. Gen. Kimberly Peeples, Mississippi Valley Division commander, after receiving the Silver de Fleury Medal at the Union Depot in St. Paul, Minnesota, July 18. The award ceremony was immediately before the change of command where Swenson relinquished command to Col. Matthew Chase, the district’s 68th commander.
