Brian Krause, master-Dredge Goetz, occupies the captain’s chair in the pilothouse of the Motor Vessel General Warren on June 5. The dredging crew was removing sediment from the Mississippi River channel near Wabasha, Minn., and placing material on nearby Crats Island. The St. Paul District’s dredge fleet is made up of three vessels to include the Dredge William L. Goetz, MV General Warren and Quarters Boat Harold E. Taggatz.
