High and dry! You don’t see this that very often. Outflows from Baldhill Dam, near Valley City, N.D., were cut from 850 cubic feet per second to 13 cfs so that inspectors could complete a periodic inspection of the structure this week. The Corps’ comprehensive periodic inspections are performed every five years as part of its dam safety program.
