Restrictions on designated trout lakes. The lakes described in this part are inhabited by trout other than lake trout. In order to protect and foster the propagation of trout, the following restrictions on fishing in these lakes apply:
A. taking of fish is prohibited, except during the open season;
B. not more than one line may be used for angling at any time, including when angling through the ice;
C. taking of minnows is prohibited, except under special permit issued by the commissioner; and 
D. possession or use of minnows as bait, except live leeches and processed minnows in a dried, frozen, or pickled condition, is prohibited.

The Saint Paul District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers supports the multi-agency effort to work with agricultural producers to manage wetlands on agricultural land. The Corps is committed to working with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, or NRCS, and the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, or BWSR, to provide technical assistance concerning the identification of wetlands and the development of coordinated permitting and mitigation procedures.
