The sponsor, Evergreen Flats LLP, is proposing to develop the Evergreen Flats Wetland Bank. The proposed bank site covers approximately 146.5 acres. The project's goal is to restore a functioning, self-sustaining wetland complex with associated upland areas, generating an estimated 77.9751 wetland banking credits. The site is currently in agricultural production with a pattern-tiled drainage system. The restoration plan involves strategically disabling the subsurface drain tile, removing the existing pump station, and establishing shallow marsh, fresh meadow, and mesic upland prairie plant communities.
