The overall purpose of the project is to construct an armor stone breakwater in Lake of the Woods to protect an existing dock and provide a safe mooring area for watercraft. The applicant has requested authorization to discharge rock fill material in approximately 0.29 acre in Lake of the Woods. The placement of the rock would be completed with a temporary barge platform. The rock would be locally sourced from previous
construction in the Northwest Angle.
