PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE: The applicant has applied for a Department of the Army permit to construct a public sanitary sewer main through Section 24 in the Hermantown Marketplace. The new trunk sewer spur is proposed to run from the southwest intersection of Haines Road and Maple Grove Road and tie into the trunk sewer along Okerstrom Road 980 feet south of Anderson Road. The proposed alignment would ultimately take two lift stations off line with potential for a third, while also being able to serve approximately 230 acres with access to gravity sewer.
