Corps and Diversion Authority move forward with new alignment
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, in cooperation with the Flood Diversion Board of Authority, announced yesterday, Nov. 8, the final diversion channel alignment for the proposed Fargo, N.D./Moorhead, Minn., Flood Risk Management Project.
Corps of Engineers forego Homme Lake fall drawdown
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will not perform a fall drawdown of Homme Lake, near Park River, N.D., because of the current drought conditions.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is preparing to store future rainfall within the Mississippi River Headwaters’ reservoirs during the next few weeks in an effort to ease drought conditions and support navigation south of St. Louis.

Corps solicits public comments on proposed fish passage project
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the city of Drayton, N.D., are hosting a public meeting to discuss a potential fish passage project at Drayton Dam on the Red River of the North. The meeting will be held Nov. 15 at the Hastings Landing Restaurant, 909 N. Main St. There will an open house from 6-8:30 p.m., with a presentation at 7 p.m.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the North Dakota State Historical Society, tasked H&S Contracting, Inc., of Moorhead, Minn., to begin stream bank stabilization repairs at the Ft. Abercrombie State Historic Site, located in Abercrombie, N.D.
