Recommended Channel Width: Project Limits

Recommended Dredging Depth: 6 feet

Estimated Quantity: 1,291 yd3

Type of Dredge: Government Mechanical

Proposed Dredging Date: September 12th, 2017

Estimated Duration: 4 dredging days

Justification for Dredging: Water depths are less than the authorized project depth for a portion of the harbor. 

 

MATERIAL PLACEMENT DATA

Proposed Placement Site: Mosquito Island

Location: 6-722.0-LWP

Site Characteristics:  Mosquito Island is a beneficial use, habitat restoration site.  The island will be extended upstream and protected with rock, topsoil, and a seed mix this season; followed by tree planting next season.
