Date Surveyed: July 14th, 2017

Water Surface Elevation: 644.5

Low Control Pool Elevation: 644.2

Net Difference: +0.3’

5-Day River Forecast: Slow Decline

 

DREDGING DATA

Recommended Channel Width: 300 feet

Recommended Dredging Depth: 12 feet

Estimated Quantity: 33,541 yd3

Type of Dredge: Government Mechanical

Proposed Dredging Date: July 26th, 2017

Estimated Duration: 21 dredging days

Justification for Dredging: The navigation channel is reduced to 220 feet between the 9.0’ contours and closed between the 10.5’ contours.

 

MATERIAL PLACEMENT DATA

Proposed Placement Site: Homer, Mosquito Island

Location: 6-720.5-RMP, 6-722.0-LWP

Site Characteristics:  The Homer placement site is a historically used stockpile site. Mosquito Island is a newly RRF endorsed placement site, the island will be extended upstream and protected with rock, soil and plantings when complete.
