Corps is performing emergency dredging to reopen the Mississippi River navigation channel

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is preparing to dredge in two separate areas within the Mississippi River to reopen the 9-foot navigation channel to commercial navigation.

Corps of Engineers to hold open house for Maple River aqueduct model

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will host an open house, Thursday, July 24, of the Maple River aqueduct physical model built to aid in the design of the Fargo, N.D./Moorhead, Minn., diversion channel.

Engineering and Construction Division

The employees in the engineering and construction division include 14 professional engineering and science disciplines. The division provides study, design and construction engineering services for civil works water resource projects, including navigation, flood control, environmental stewardship, dam safety, recreation and emergency response. This includes engineering and related support to maintain the St. Paul District's 13 locks and dams on the Mississippi River and 16 multi-purpose reservoirs.
