The Directorate of Civil Works is a major component of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Civil Works programs include water resource development activities including flood risk management, navigation, recreation, and infrastructure and environmental stewardship. Corps awards $42.2 million contract for the Fargo-Moorhead diversion project
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $42.2 million contract to R.J. Zavoral & Sons, Inc. of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, yesterday, March 11, to complete the Southern Embankment Reach SE-2B portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, which is also known as the FM Area Diversion.
