ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is seeking comments on the draft Breckenridge, Minn., berm construction and channel clean-out Environmental Assessment.
The Corps, in partnership with the city of Breckenridge, is proposing to modify the city's existing flood risk reduction project to ensure it functions as designed. The Corps is proposing to dredge approximately 7,000 cubic yards of sediment from the diversion channel inlet and construct a 400-foot berm to minimize future sediment deposits.

A public review and comment period on the draft environmental assessment begins today and will end July 07.
