Operators at Lock and Dam 3 sprang into action last week to rescue passengers on a disabled pontoon before going through the dam's roller gates. Thanks to lock personnel and responders with the Prairie Island Police Department and Goodhue County Sheriff's Office - all trained to respond without endangering themselves or others - everyone involved is okay.
